1. Reports – you can write a report of at least 750 words on any topic you choose. This report can be about a person or event that you have already learned about such as the Vikings, Columbus, the Quakers – or it can be about a person, place, or event that was passed over or only briefly mentioned such as the Salem witch trials.

2. Poster Presentations – Instead of putting it all in writing as a report, why not make a slide or poster presentation? This is good practice for high school and college, plus it is fun and creative.

If you have PowerPoint on your computer you can make a PowerPoint Poster and you can even have it printed out and laminated. 3. Make a detailed timeline of events using your filled-out timeline worksheets. You can use the computer for this project to make it look neat and presentable. In addition, photos can be used from the internet (under fair use copyright laws) to add interest to your timeline. When you are finished you can take them to a craft store or print shop to have the pages laminated.
